An automatically posted First Comment for Instagram posts

An automatically posted 'First Comment' option would be great to allow users to implement their Hashtag Strategy. This allows the caption to be less crowded with hashtags by placing them into an automatically posted 'First Comment' box.

Agreed. This is the only one I think I've come across now that doesn't have this feature.

Could you share some examples of other tools with this feature? We'd love to see how they've implemented this.

Hi Gavin, Sprout Social does a really good job with this. Also, GRUM offers this.

Thanks for sharing Dan! I've been hearing this request more and more, so this is something we're looking to prioritise on the roadmap. To assist us in how we approach the solution, can I assume that the first comment will usually only include hashtags?

Yes, that is typically the reason for the first comment. One advantage you could build in is some type of repository so that you could easily create several groups of hashtags so that you can click on one tag or group and then it could automatically populate those saved hashtags (up to 30 per group). This would be a nice feature to add onto the platform now even without the first comment section.

They STILL don’t have 1st comment? How behind the curve can a platform be?
