Be able to view and manage the Media Library more like a library

The fact that any posts I have uploaded with images have the images saved to the media library is great, however, it would be great if I could go through the media library and delete images, manage images, and view images in a more user friendly way than the method which is currently available, like a folder for example, or like SmugMug or Google Drive, where you can see all your images in one place.

PLease yes! This would be so much easier to manage.

When I go into the media library, under attach media, sometimes there will be multiple copies of the same image. That is not a big concern, because I usually just delete them as I see them. The recommendation would be an alternate way to access the media library, maybe where I could view 20-30 images at once and batch delete things.

I agree. I would like to have folders where I can upload images in various categories to use as an image repository for future posts and occasionally reusing the images as evergreen content.

Yes! I'd also be able to upload bulk images that I'm going to be using later. It seems that images only save in the library if they are attached to a post that's been published.
